About The Owner - Bryan Lachapelle
Bryan was born and raised in the Niagara Area, where he lived with his parents, and 3 brothers. His passion for technology, especially computers started at a very young age. (Before Windows stopped meaning the glass you look through!). By 12 years old, Bryan was taking apart the family computer to perform upgrades, and although had the misfortune of 'frying' the computer during his first upgrade, his fascination never ended. To compliment his interests in Computers, Bryan was also introduced to the Royal Canadian Army Cadets in Fonthill, where he not only learned leadership, and discipline, but also the importance of giving back to the community. Being in Cadets instilled in Bryan, the values he lives by every day - Honesty, Responsibility, Dependability, Patience, Determination, and Loyalty. After graduating from High School, Bryan enrolled in the Computer Engineering Technology COOP Program at Niagara College of Applied arts and Technology. There not only did his passion for technology flourished, and allowed him to excel in his classes, he also met his soul mate Amanda, who is now his lovely wife. His dedication to the Cadet program did not end on his 19th birthday, Bryan stayed on with the Fonthill Army Cadet Corps as a staff member in order to give back to the program that had taught him so much. He eventually enrolled as a CIC officer, and was commissioned as a Canadian Forces Officer in 2001. During college, Bryan had the fortune of being placed with Upper Lakes Group Inc. of Toronto for his COOP placement. After receiving his College Diploma in late 2001, Bryan continued to work for Upper Lakes, and with the support of Amanda, they moved to Toronto, to take on a full time position. There, he quickly worked his way up from Field Technician to the company's IT Systems Administrator. Taking his commitment to the Army Cadet program with him, Bryan transfered to a Toronto Army Cadet Unit, and continued to dedicate his free time to the program. In late 2004, Bryan and Amanda decided to return to the Niagara Region to be closer to their family's. Moving back to Niagara also allowed Bryan to return to his home Army Cadet unit where he was subsequently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Upon returning to Niagara, Bryan went to work for a local computer consulting firm in St Catharines that specialized in Small Business IT solutions. This is where his passion for helping others with computers grew. Seeing the potential to help others doing what he loved, Bryan decided to start a side company PCMechanik in 2004 helping residential clients with their computer needs. In 2005, due to the loss of a major client, Bryan along with several other technicians were laid off from their full time positions. Bryan looked at this as an opportunity and decided to take his company PCMechanik and make it his full time job. With diligent work, and commitment, Bryan grew the company, and eventually started taking on commercial clients, including his former employer, Upper Lakes Group Inc. On the Cadet side of Bryan's life, he started to take on more responsibility, and in late 2006, was promoted to the rank of Captain, and took on the responsibility as the unit's next Commanding Officer. 2006 was a busy year for Bryan. On July 29, 2006 Bryan and Amanda became husband and wife, in a beautiful ceremony in the Balls Falls chapel. As the business continued to grow Bryan decided in late 2007 to separate the residential side of his company from the commercial side, and thus b4 Networks was born. Bryan continues to manage both businesses, and has recently brought on his first full time employee Adam, to help him further grow his businesses. He also continues to hold the position of Commanding Officer with the Fonthill Army Cadets, giving back to the community that has not only taught him so much, has also embraced his companies, and helped him prosper.
